Beta waitlist
Waitlist privacy notice
Last updated August 16, 2026
This notice covers only the MotionScout beta-waitlist form. It does not describe a future beta account, athlete profile, video upload, or paid service.
Information handled by the form
The only information a person types into the form is an email address. MotionScout and its service providers, including Clerk and Cloudflare, process that address and technical request data needed to deliver, secure, and protect the form from abuse. Technical data may include an IP address, browser or device details, request and security events, cookies, or similar technologies. A parent or guardian joining for a young athlete must use their own email address.
How the email is used
MotionScout uses the address only for the waitlist confirmation requested by joining and, if the request is selected, an invitation or status communication needed to handle that waitlist request. Joining does not authorize a newsletter or general marketing. Any such program would require a separately reviewed, compliant opt-in process.
What not to submit
Do not submit an athlete's name, email, phone number, video, medical or recruiting information, guardian details, or any other sensitive information. This form accepts one adult contact email only and does not authorize any sports-footage upload.
Access remains separate
Joining the waitlist does not create a MotionScout account, admit anyone to the private alpha, grant a product entitlement, guarantee an invitation, or promise a beta date.
Retention and choices
MotionScout ends active-waitlist use of an email at the earliest of sending an invitation, receiving a verified removal request, or 24 months after the person joins the waitlist. For a privacy question or removal request, email [email protected] from the address used to join. MotionScout processes a verified removal request within 30 days, stops waitlist outreach, and removes the address from active consideration. When supported, MotionScout deletes a pending Clerk waitlist entry. If an invitation is open, MotionScout revokes it; if it has already resulted in an account or another state, MotionScout handles that state under the applicable process and asks the service provider for help with any residual record it cannot remove directly. Limited security, audit, backup, or legal-compliance records may remain for their applicable periods, but are not used for waitlist outreach.
